PM Modi Called Review Meet After Surgical Strikes

narendra modi in meetingAfter India’s surgical strikes in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, Prime Minister Modi has called a review meeting with security establishment. This is going to be a second such meet after Indian Army attacked terrorist training camps in POK that killed 38 terrorists who were planning to infiltrate into India.

The meeting is for cabinet committee on security in which government’s top most ministers and Indian Army officials will be present and it will be headed by Prime Minister himself.

Indian security forces and coast guards are on highest alert since the surgical strikes as it is expected from Pakistan to hit back with more terrorist infiltrators. Yesterday villages near the international border in different states were evacuated and more than 2 lakh villagers are now being evacuated in Kashmir and Punjab regions.

Situation has been extremely tense on the line of control ever since the Indian Paramilitary commandos attacked the terrorist camps in POK and killed over 40 terrorists. On the other hand Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif has also called for a security review meeting and have also called a joint session of the parliament on 5th October.

Pakistan has been in denial mode and claimed that India is war mongering with false claims of surgical strikes in Pakistan. It also claimed that 2 of its solders were killed in ceasefire violation by India. Pakistani army has also warned indian counter part that they will retaliate if Indian troops enter Pakistan.

Meanwhile Afghanistan has extended support to India saying that surgical strikes by the country are in defense towards the offense caused by Pakistan with Uri army camp attack earlier this month.
